Growing up in a foreign country in combination with a genuine interest in business and entrepreneurship, made me decide to study International Business in Maastricht. After my graduation I wanted to find a place where I could continue to develop my skills in an environment that would stimulate personal growth and entrepreneurship. Cargill has offered me this place.

Cargill's European Graduate Programme gives me the opportunity to gain skills, meet professionals from diverse backgrounds and see Cargill's plants all over Europe. Next to this programme, I started learning essential business skills on the job as from day one.

After working for 14 months, I am responsible for over one million euro sales serving two major food service multinationals. I am involved in daily production, supplier negotiations, new business opportunities and next year's product innovations. My job at Cargill in combination with the European Graduate programme has kick-started my international career and I am convinced I will have a bright future within this great family company.
