I started working with Cargill as an HR trainee fulfilling the role ‘Global Mobility Coordinator Belgium’.

Based in Mechelen, I look after all expatriates into Belgium as well as out of Belgium: I help and coordinate the process of the expatriates and their families during their expatriate assignment, which involves coordination of their relocation, managing vendors, settling taxes, social security, payroll…It’s a job full of variety in which I learn and get challenged every day.

Being enrolled in the European Graduate programme is a great opportunity to meet other trainees from all over Europe. We share our experiences in different fields of expertise and attend different soft skill trainings. It’s always interesting and great fun!

I haven’t decided yet which path to follow in the future, for sure it will be in HR and knowing Cargill, opportunities will for sure occur. It’s great to be a trainee feeling the support and freedom to choose while exploring my further career path within Cargill.
