European Graduate Program

My first assignment as HR Trainee is in the Graduate Recruitment Department in Amsterdam. I am assisting the graduate recruiter with various activities related to the recruitment of graduates. This includes PR activities, screening of CV’s, interviewing and visiting career fairs at the various universities within The Netherlands.

Next to this I am also involved in the Local HR Committee, which is discussing and proactively giving advice to the National HR board about a variety of HR issues. In this way I am involved in the whole range of the HR field right from the beginning.

Being part of HR within Cargill means you are in constant contact with a diverse range of business units. In the future I hope to become an HR manager of one of the locations or maybe end up in a more specific field such as talent development. Where exactly my passion will be I do not know yet, this I hope to find this out during the 2 years of my Graduate Programme. The great thing about the European Graduate programme is that you are building an intense network with all the other graduates from all over Europe, which makes Cargill a very diverse and challenging place to work.
